The Shimmer9*

I read the novel The Shimmer by David Morrell today. I read 40 pages. The book is 339 pages long. Mary and I went to Chinese restaurant at 4:00 p.m. I ate rice and broccoli, peppers, and snowpeas. Mary ate pork lo mein. We drank soda. We walked to town. We sat in the bench by the creek. We shopped in the store tonight. We went home.

    I used to love Pork Lo Mein. I think that it's my favorite Chinese dish. That and General Tso's Chicken. And Shrimp Toast. And Chicken Fried Rice. And Egg Drop Soup. And, oh yeah, a fortune cookie. I am hungry for Chinese now.
